SV Thalassa is a rare 1978 Fuji 40 designed by Sparkman & Stephens and built in Japan by Fuji Yacht Builders. A substantial bluewater cruiser with approximately 27,000 lb displacement, she combines classic S&S lines with the systems and equipment for extended cruising.

Thalassa has been upgraded with approximately 850 watts of solar, a watermaker producing about 6 gallons per hour with two newer membranes, a Westerbeke diesel generator, Westerbeke auxiliary diesel with approximately 2,700 hours, two D4 Lifeline AGM house batteries, a dedicated starting battery, upgraded 12V refrigeration, Simrad chartplotter, Class B AIS, VHF, SSB, new mainsail, spare mainsail, spare headsail, new lazy jacks, new Rocna anchor, and approximately 200 feet of anchor chain. An extensive collection of tools, spares, and cruising equipment is included.
